A Vintage 1930s National Park Screenprint Poster In The Wpa...
Prompt Text
A vintage 1930s national park screenprint poster in the WPA style, flat layered colours with a slight paper texture and fine ink grain. A great cone volcano stands in the middle of the frame, erupting at dusk. Its plume of dark smoke rises and spreads into the exact shape of an ornate Venetian masquerade mask, with two glowing orange eye-holes and curling filigree at its edges, filling the upper third of the sky. Thin rivers of orange lava run down the dark slopes. At the top of the poster, in bold cream capital letters: "MOUNT MASQUE". At the bottom, in smaller cream capital letters: "ERUPTS NIGHTLY · FORMAL WEAR REQUIRED". Palette of charcoal, deep plum and cream, with lava orange as the only bright colour. Bold simple shapes, strong symmetry.
