Trees Dot This Alien Terrain - But Instead Of Wood Or Bark,...
Prompt Text
Trees dot this alien terrain - but instead of wood or bark, they're made entirely from interlocking sheets of cork. Their leaves are thin slivers cut from the same material, fluttering gently in the breeze like oversized scales on some primordial beast. The branches twist and turn, forming complex patterns that echo the natural grain of cork. As you wander through this bizarre landscape, you come across a river - but instead of water, it's filled with a viscous, honey-like substance. It flows sluggishly over rocks made from compressed cork fibers, leaving behind a trail of golden liquid that hardens into new formations as it dries. The creatures inhabiting this world are equally surreal. They resemble some cross between animals and plants - their bodies formed from swirling masses of cork fibers, their limbs segmented like stems or roots. Their eyes are dark pits in the material's surface; their mouths open to reveal rows of tiny holes that might once have been air pockets.
